While working at Protoscar SA, a former Swiss specialist in electric vehicle infrastructure, Thomas Clever developed the design for several charging stations.
The sleek, clean lines give this design a particularly elegant look, while the cleverly angled shapes lend the beautiful case its rigidity.
The plan was to manufacture the outer shell using the rotomolding process, a method that had already proven itself in the first charging stations produced by Protoscar in the 1990s due to its durable robustness.

Starting with the E-Totem charging station on the left, which is particularly common in Switzerland and dates from 1995, there are other designs by Thomas Clever, such as the evtec fast charger in the center and the HomeCharger in the upper right.
